It cannot be.....
Yesterday was my scheduled RE consultation. It was also the day AF was due. We already know that we have possible male factor issues, plus I have endometriosis--and that nothing has happened naturally (yet???). So, an hour before the appointment, I decided to test. I only tested because I had a digital test in the house and I figured that once I come under an REs care I will be getting blood tests and told not to POAS.
***????? It cannot be--I got a BFP on the digital test!!!!!!!!
So, we went to the RE appointment anyway. I told him right away. We didn't even talk about IF testing or treatment. We talked about how he will (hopefully) monitor me for the next 2 weeks. I was glad that he did not just shuffle me back to my gyn. They took blood and did a sono. It was too soon to see anything on sono but he confirmed that I ovulated, etc. So they drew my blood and told me they would call me today, hopefully to confirm a pregnancy and tell me about my levels.
Well, they just called to tell me that the lab is having some sort of instrument problems and I may not have results today. I have not even POAS again. I have something that I have to finish for work by close of business today and now I just want to run out and buy more tests.
I swear, I have PMS and I even have some mild cramps. I am such a pessimist that I think that it is either not true that I am PG, or it will turn out to be a chemical. I am scared! I should POAS again, shouldn't I???? I want to cry from the stress!!!!
UPDATE: I got the call. My test was "definitely positive." Beta was 217 and progesterone 49.6. Is that good? They said it was.

OMG...I don't even know what to tell you! I would probably POAS again just to control the crazies....

I keep looking at this thread and thinking that the are for someone else. Ladies, you are making me feel so good. The IF board is really an amazing group. I have lurked as much as I have posted, maybe more. People on here go beyond their own struggles to send well wishes to so many other people. It makes me feel GOOD about the world!
I am scared, though. I have always suspected that pregnancy loss has to be more difficult than having trouble getting PG in the first place. (I assume that many people here would tell me not to compare the 2). Can I be selfish and ask for  that I will not find out first hand which issue is tougher to deal with?
