It is no joke: April Fools Storm is coming!!!!
This storm IS hitting here. Could be large accumulations of snow north of the city. FOr NYC and LI, looks to be mixing of stuff, depending on what time you are looking. But we can pray for more rain here. One thing on our side is the higher angle of the sun at this time of year. That is what is making this look a bit better than it would typically be. (Meaning the sun can warm more than it would if this storm was hitting in January.) Lots of uncertainty. I am tending to my son this morning, so no details yet. But a lot of precipitation will be falling, with a LOT of wind.
I will be back..........but for now, fart to warm the atmosphere.
For now, torture yourself with the maps:
(I can see these changing a hell of a lot during the next 24 hours.)

Wed night update: Nothing much has changed. A little precipitation may fall by Thursday morning, but the bulk of precipitation is Thursday night into Friday morning. Look at your maps. I added NJ now.

I just want it to be all over by Friday evening!! My DH surprise dinner for his 30th birthday is that night..I really dont want to have to change the date!!

It will be over by Saturday, right? DD's 1st birthday party is that day. I have tons of family coming in from PA. Booo. And tons of running around to do on Friday- I don't need a storm slowing me down!

Just on the 1st? I'm hopefully having a baby this weekend, and in thought by April I wouldn't have to worry about snow anymore. :\

The storm of 1982 is what I thought of when I heard snow this weekend. My mom was preggers with me at my great-grandmothers funeral. She always mentions this story to me.
