It is with great sadness that I say this...
I will be making my exit on the TTC board for a few months.
After talking it over with DH, we came to the decision that we just need a major break from all this. My life is moving in weeks at a time. The week of AF, O week and then the 2WW. I am feeling like I am missing out on life sometimes.
We have been trying for 18 months. It has been a long journey that has drained us emotionally and even financially. My heart is broken, I feel beaten and my body needs a rest from all the meds.
When I return I will more than likely go straight to the IF board. Like some have said at one time, the TTC board can be somewhat of a revolving door, and it is taking its toll on me. Make no mistake I am happy about every BFP but with every BFP it's a constant reminder that I haven't gotten one.
I am going to miss you guys so much. I loved coming on here and just sharing everything. I don't have that in RL. I will still be around, checking up on you all, praying and spreading the babydust.
I am sad to go and yet I know this is what I need. We have a long road ahead of us still and we need to regroup.
I WILL be back one day and I WILL be sharing the pregnancy board with you all again soon. I know it. I believe in that.

The very best of luck to you. I cannot even imagine how I would feel if I was ttc for months- this is our first month and its already driving me nuts.
Many and good wishes go out to you and i am sure you will be sharing the love on the pregnant board before you know it.

you have to do what you feel most comfortable with... last year after my second mc in june' three months apart from the first i couldnt make sense why things failed. the doctor wanted me to wait 6 month to be on the safe side of a possible complication. In december we decided to wait further til August to ttc. I definately took those 14 months to live things up a bit taking weekend trips and such, and lost 50lbs joining weightwatchers, i had to make something good come out of it....
I dont know what is worse- taking longer to conceive or to keep mc'ing...either way its a very draining process

Enjoy this time away, enjoy your DH, stop calendars and counting and enjoy each other.

I am so sad to see you go! There aren't many of us who have been around long enough to see so many come and go, have their babies, etc.
I can completely understand needing a break from living life in two week intervals - counting days, stressing out, always wishing and waiting.
I wish you the best, and please feel free to stay in touch via FM! You've been a great source of information and support for everyone on here.

I'm going to miss you on this board, but I also think that it will be good for you to take some time to enjoy life a bit and re-group. ITA with the PP who commented on how ttc is a lot of stress to be under for such a long period time, so I think it that taking some time off to enjoy your dh & reclaim your life again is a good idea. I will definitely miss your kind thoughts & advice though!
I wish you & your dh all the best and hope that I will see you again really soon, but on the pregnancy board!!

Christine, i dont even know you IRL.. but you really bought tears to my eyes... i feel like you and the other girls have been so wonderful and really cant ask for more the support you have given and keeping me sane was just incredibly generous i am so sad to see you go, and its true what they say about this board sometimes.. its a revolving door unfortunately..and its hurts for some of us..
i am praying for you always, and wish you all the best in the world.. and when you come back, i hope you are on the PG board and not the IF board.

oh Christine... I wish I could say something to make it easier - but there are no words. I know exactly what you mean and how every BFP is nice, but hurts just the same.
Please, keep in touch from time to time -just let us know you are okay and out there.
