Itchy Belly?

Is anyone else's stomach severly itchy? I cannot stop scratching and my sister keeps telling me I am going to bring on the stretch marks. Is there anything I can put on to make it stop?

I don't think anything can prevent stretch marks but my derm recommended Sarna anti-itch lotion because it is steroid-free. You can try that but it hasn't really helped me that much

Everytime it is itchy just put cream on it even durning the day. I noticed it was only itchy certain times of my pregnancy and it was due to my stomach growing and streching. Once it grew it stopped. I also do not have one strech mark on my belly. My hips is another story and that was never itchy.

Re: Itchy Belly?

I don't have ANY stretch marks on my belly (at almost 36 weeks) but it is CONSTANTLY itchy! Just use cream, but take it from me, don't spend crazy amounts of money on all those creams that claim to work, because I have tried EVERYTHING and I still have them in certain spots really bad...but not on my belly. Stretch marks are genetic. Nothing you can do about it.

Re: Itchy Belly?

If u are itchy just use cocoa butter that helps to sooth it. But u have to carry it around with u all day b/c it wears off.

Palmers Anti Itch Oil. I sprayed this on my belly every night before bed.

Re: Itchy Belly?

Sometime during my 5-6th month my stomach was so itchy--i was constantly buying cream

Palmers has an anti-itch oil.

It lasted a couple of weeks and then it subsided....but when it was going on, IT WAS BAD!!
