It's a bittersweet day....

Well today is my last day as a full time working mom. I worked so hard to get to where I am today (in terms of career success) and on one hand totally excited about being home 2 days during the week to be with my my babies, and other the other hand so nervous about letting it all go.

I start my part time job on Monday (no rest for the weary). I'll work 3 days a week and the kids will go to daycare those 3 days. Ever since Hannah was born I did the drop offs and pick up and now I'lll only be able to pick up. I'm very sad to not be able to drop them off and know they are settled and ok.

This is too much change for me at once.

its going to be ok. i know change is always hard but you can do it.

Good Luck to you...Just think the days you are home they are your priority and you have the freedom to do anything with them...I work full time but I am lucky I can work from home 2 days a week...but I would love to work part time so the days we are free to do anything..

This is going to be so great for you and doesn't take anything away from what you've achieved in your career. I know how much sacrifice and hard work it takes to get there in this field. No one can take it away from you.
