What a bittersweet day!
My great grandmother passed away today at the incredible age of 101, which we should all be so lucky AND my mom and I saw a rainbow. And no, my g/gm was wayyyyyy too ornery of a woman to send us a rainbow And I'm not posting this for sympathy...she was old. She's at peace. It's all good. But how cool to see a rainbow on Mother's Day?
Edit for typo

Re: What a bittersweet day!
I would take the rainbow to mean she shook up the place when she arrived.
I'm glad you are at peace with her passing & that you have some great memories.

101 - what a great age - sorry for your loss. We just spent the day with MILs cousins almost 100 yr old dad (August), and he never ceases to amaze me

Re: What a bittersweet day!
I take comfort in seeing a rainbow. The day my grandfather died my mom saw a rainbow, and they day he was buried she saw one troo. Now every time I see one I take that as a sign that he is saying hi.
