It's a Christmas Miracle! Justin Bieber is Retiring!
Hear that high-pitched noise in the distance? That's the sound of millions of teenage girls reacting to Justin Bieber's claim that he's retiring.
On Tuesday, during an interview with L.A. hip-hop station Power 106, the 19-year-old said he was calling it quits.
Bieber explained that his new album, Journals, which is out Dec. 23, will be his last. "After the new album, I'm actually, I'm retiring, man, I'm retiring," he told host Big Boy.
"I'm retiring, I'm just gonna take ... I think I'm probably gonna quit music," he added.
But the singer is "not retiring," a source close to Bieber tells PEOPLE. "He's got too much going on."
That includes his movie, Believe, which is out Christmas Day.
A rep for Bieber had no comment.
Given the year he's had – with graffiti incidents, a controversial trip to Amsterdam and a rocky European tour – do you think it's time the Biebs had a time out?

His manager said he wants and needs time off to focus on his family and himself. Supposedly they say Usher talked to him for a second time to try and help him. I have said it before but he has a drug problem..needs rehab and time to get his shit back together! So many signs he is on drugs..Wearing sunglasses indoors and for during interviews is a definite sign. Hiding their eyes is something many drug users do. I understand many dont like him but he is a kid in my eyes who unfortunatley like all the other young stars are used up, given everything they ever want,then they spit them out after they are done with them and they all profit from him. I never wish bad on these child stars i only hope they can get the right help and get the right guidance to point them back in the right direction!
