I quit smoking and I am going nuts!
Please tell me it will get easier

and it's that much more time that you'll get to spend with your beautiful little boy! 
It DOES get easier, but the first 3 weeks were the hardest for me. After that, there were some trigger times and some times that were harder than others (3 mos, 6 mos, 1 year)... but it passes, and you're so much better off because of it! Stick with it... you will be SOOO proud and happy that you did.

It gets easier.
The first 2-3 weeks are a little rough but it starts to get better after that and you'll start to feel better.

Don't give into the urge. Fight it. I quit about 4 years ago and feel great. Good for you for making it to Day 2.

The 2nd day for me was the hardest. I would chant "I'm not a smoker, I'm not a smoker...." whenever I was particularly stressed.

Hang in there
It is hard but everyday it will get easier......just think about the money you will be saving and you will be adding years to your life
I used the losenge for like 2 weeks and that kinda helped

I quit cold turkey (got PG) on May 18 and I still want a cigarette. Its a hard habbit to quit. There are days I forget that I ever smoked for 17 yrs, then there are days like yesterday where I was purposly standing next to a man smoking, just to smell it. Good Luck, it will get easier.

Thanks for all the encouragement. Its crazy how strong the craving is for something that you know is so bad for you.
It was nice to come home from work last night knowing that I didn't reek of cigarette smoke! I guess that's a plus.

you can do it .. it will get better. i quit once for 3 years and the first 2 weeks were torture. but after that it was much better.
