It's Official..He LOVES Max & Ruby
We are hanging out watching TV and Bryan is HYSTERICAL laughing at the bunnies walking across the TV screen.
Too funny.

my boys went through a phase where they LOOOVEd Max and Ruby, totally in a trance watching the tv, ahh, that was great for mommy 
I dont know what they love about it. it seems so boring to me 
I mean just the song would send them flying towards the TV. we got a book out of the library the other day, and they were LOVING IT.
and these are crazy boys, buzz lightyear and star wars kinda kids. they LOVE max and ruby.
(and never cared for CARS or the Wiggles or Thomas...) kids are funny with what they like or dislike.
take some video of his cute giggles.

As much as I HATE it. My daughters love it. And I even DVR it & use it often to get them to sit & stay quiet.

My son (Noah) never liked television and still rarely wants to watch it... but he LOOOOOVES Max & Ruby. Max just cracks him up!

It's posted on the website that they are focusing on how the two kids interact, and they are intentionally leaving the parents out of the show.
DS used to watch it all the time, but his speech started regressing because of Max. DS went from full sentences, to "Max talk", where he just repeats the same word or phrase over and over. Not sure if other DC would do that, but it's something to keep an eye on.

Ruby is seven and Max is three. Their relationship is based on my two kids when they were seven and three. Even though they love each other, Max and Ruby have very different ideas about everything. Max is mischievous and disorganized. Ruby is bossy, determined, and very organized. In each story Max wants one thing and Ruby wants something entirely different.
As in most other classic stories, we don't see Max and Ruby's parents, because I believe that kids resolve their issues and conflicts differently when they are on their own. The television series gives kids a sense about how these two siblings resolve their conflicts in a humorous and entertaining way.
