it's the end of the world as i know it... update
a girl asked my son to the movies, tonight.
it's going to be a group of five kids. one is bringing an adult. but it was one of the girls who called to invite my son.
since i said maybe, the boy has raked leaves faster than ever in his life. he has done everything i've asked him to do, in hopes of me saying yes.
i will be dropping him off, meeting the adult, and then picking him up.
my baby isn't such a baby, any more
UPDATE: my baby is back home. he did not stop talking from the moment i picked him up. he had a great time hanging out with friends. they saw Planet 51. he said it was very funny.
 my baby is growing up.
i'm so happy that he had a great time... as i was waiting for him to come out, it hit me... i'm the mom. i was parked with all the other parents picking up their kids. i'm no longer the one going out to party, i'm the one in the un-cool parental car line... when did the world change??
