It's working!
So I decided to shake things up a bit. I've been eating 1200 calories for the majority of the past seven years and have plateaued bad. I actually gained 10 lbs since the wedding and was at a loss as to what to do.
Since I'm training for a half marathon in march I decided now is the best time to bump up my calories. I'm 140 lbs and decided to use 1700 as my baseline and increase my calories by 1/2 whatever I work out for the day with the extra calories being mostly protein. ie: if I burn 400 calories I eat 1900 for the day.
Well after less than a week I'm proud to say I've lost 3 POUNDS!!!
And the extra calories have helped give me way more energy for my runs and my times have been better than they've ever been!
I'm so excited!
It is difficult actually planning enough healthy foods to get in all my calories!
