IUI #1 tomorrow
Out of 5 follicles, only 1 is mature at 23mm, so IUI #1 is tomorrow and IUI #2 is Tuesday. Hoping by doing B2B IUIs will do the trick

Re: IUI #1 tomorrow
Were any of the other follicles close in size that they might catch up? You never know!!
ETA: It only takes one!

Re: IUI #1 tomorrow
Thanks everyone
DHs count was low at 2 million, and his motility was 67%. Not the greatest, but Dr. Stelling said it wasn't his worst which was good. So glad we're going back tomorrow. Hopefully the combination of the 2 days will let this work. Since his counts are so low, this is most likely our last IUI. I hope it's the last because I finally get a BFP, but with these numbers, our chances aren't very good. Keeping my fingers crossed for a miracle

Re: IUI #1 tomorrow
Don't give up hope, my DH's count was low for the 1st IUI, but was more than triple for the 2nd IUI. Like the nurses said to me the day of my IUIs it only takes 1 sperm to meet the egg for you to get pregnant!!
Wishing you all the luck in the world!!!

Re: IUI #1 tomorrow
I wish I could have come on here with an exciting and happy update, but that's just not the case. DHs count today was only 800k with 45% motility, I am being referred to the IVF counselor after my beta on the 24th. Just broke down in the room and couldn't control the tears. The nurse and Dr (and student observing nonetheless) we're trying to give me success stories, but I know what the reality is. DH is taking it harder I think, we can't help but feel defeated. It's so hard to remain positive. Starting progesterone tomorrow, and I go back on Monday for an estrogen and progesterone check.

Re: IUI #1 tomorrow
I'm so sorry, but you never know! I'm actually surprised they are doing B2B IUIs with MFI issues. There's no evidence that B2B works better than 1 really well-timed (36-40 hours after trigger) IUI. And I'd think that with MFI they'd prefer the abstinence rather than having that first IUI, which isn't really well-timed no matter what.
How many IUIs have you had before?

Thanks, I'm going to try to see the positive side of this, no point in being negative and mopey for 2 weeks.
I triggered on Sunday, so the IUIs were done at 24 and 48 hours after. I think I may have ovulated yesterday morning, I was having really strong twinges and cramps around 1030. With this most recent effort today, it was IUI #6. His numbers all range from 1.2 to 4.5 million and his motility has always been on the lower side, but the drs thought that it was my lack of ovulation that was our main issue.
I can only sit and wait now. But at least we have a new plan should this not work.

If you triggered on Sunday then you probably didn't O Monday morning. It's closer to 40 hours after trigger that you actually O.
Has your husband seen a urologist for MFI? It's possible you won't need IVF once his issues are addressed.
