I've been up since before 3am w/ a toothache

HELP! I went to bed around 1:30 and have been up since before 3am. I went to the dentist last week and got 3 teeth worked on. I have been experienceing pain since I left his office and went back at the end of the week to have him look at it. He said the teeth that we worked on had deep cavities and 2 of them had root canals. He told me to give it another day or 2 and if it didnt feel better he'd call in an antibiotic for me over the weekend, which he did. I started it yesterday along with vicadin but neither one is doing anything for me. Any suggestions? I can't go on like this until the antibiotic kicks in, if it does. TIA!

Rinse with sea salt and warm water....also when you lay down, put an extra pillow under your head to elevate it . For some reason when you have a toothache and lay flat it makes it worse.

I am the queen of teeth problems so I totally feel for you!
I would say def go back today, tooth pain is the absolutel worse and really there is not much you can do but go back to the dentist and have him open the tooth to check it out
