IVF canceled....but still a GLIMMER of hope...
When I went for my last u/s this past Sunday, there was only one big folllie, maybe 3 small ones. The doctor said not to waste $7,000 on one egg (especially when I had 14 big follies at last IVF and no mature eggs were in them!). She said, rather than "waste" this cycle and all the meds I took, to try an IUI. So, I triggered last night....and let me tell you, that was hard to do. I had to put it in my muscle at 6:00 last night. DH wasn't home yet, so I had to do it myself. I couldn't reach to do my hip/buttock area, so I jabbed my thigh muscle. I just did it real quick and it wasn't TOO bad. Just a bit sore today....
Anyway, DH has to go in at 7:30am tomorrow to give his "deposit". They'll then wash it and I go in at 8:30 for the IUI. PLEASE give me some good thoughts!!! I'm trying to remain positive....
