IVF Sucess Rates
Good Morning everyone!
I will be doing my first IVF next month and although I am very excited I'm also very nervous. I'm petrified that it won't work. Lately, I've been hearing that girls who went for IVF and it didn't work!! I don't know if I will be able to take the disappoint of another failed cycle especially through IVF. I've been trying for over a year now, had 4 medicated IUI's with no sucess.
So if anyone has any positive sucess stories for their first IVF sucess, please share. I need to hear some positive outcomes
ETA: i just wanted to add that my FH has low motility. Would the IVF help with this?

Re: IVF Sucess Rates
IVF will definitely help low motility as sperm only have to make their way to the egg in a dish or you can do ICSI and have them fertilize each egg.
Success rate vary by age

Are you strictly male factor?
Our proper diagnosis is "unexplained" but with low Mortility.
I have no issues.

Re: IVF Sucess Rates
IVF will def work for male factor. ask if they fertilize the eggs with ICSI (where they inject a single sperm directly into each egg). this generally helps the most for male factor issues.
i had success with my first IVF. after several medicated cycles, i now have a 3 month old DD from that IVF as well as 8 frosties! you can read my IVF journal here. . good luck!
