Jake's "Very Hungry Caterpillar" Birthday Party
For Jake's second b-day, we kept it pretty low-key (or so we thought!). We had a pretty light crowd (at least for my DH's family's standards), a ton of yummy homemade food, and tons of fun. I tried to get creative with my decorations.... I think Jake enjoyed himself! Our friends and family were so generous and I cannot wait for more warm weather to play with all of his new outdoor toys. Please forgive me in advance for the picture overload....

Thanks so much! I used a digital cutting machine at my job, but you could totally make one with some simple scrapbooking materials. After I attached the letters to the circles, I punched two holes toward the top of each one and then threaded a ribbon through. I am thinking that if I am careful, I can remove the "2nd" and change the that one every year... at least for a while. The colors will work with many themes.

As someone who did the same theme, awesome job :) I love the sign and the cake looks awesome! I did the same thing with the balloons LOL!
