January Mommies... Where did everyone go?
Just checking in to see where all the January mommies went! I went 2 weeks early with Gianna, and ever since then, I lost track of all the other mommies due...
How is everyone doing???

i'm here  little allison is going to be three weeks on monday! we're getting to know each other, it's been rough but we're hanging in there!

I'm here too!!! Today has been rough. Shaylie barely slept today except when she fell asleep at 6:30 and didn't wake up till 10. Before that she was screaming and crying for the majority of the day. The poor thing's voice sounds so hoarse. I have no idea what's wrong. We're taking her to the doctor tomorrow because originally, she didn't poop for 2 days, then she went early this morning then again tonight. She was even doing it when I was changing her a little while ago. Maybe its her formula because she's also been a lot of gas and you can even hear the rumblings in her tummy. She's having no problem eating. I'm just worried about my little girl.

I'm here! Finally, getting to know my DD schedule. My mom was visiting from Tx and helping me out a ton! My DH often has overnights with his job, so my MIL will be here tonight to help out. My only challenge is caring for a newborn with a puppy and the frigid weather. We don't have a back yard where I could let my puppy go out and pee. So it will be a challenge to walk the dog and DD in the cold! brrrrr
Anyone else have any challenges?

I ahd the same issue with DS, he didn't poop for 2 days staright, and he was always gassy and fussy, we talked to the ped. and she suggested switching the formula, I found one called Gentlease and he changed instantly!!! Started pooping again and no more gas or fussiness!!!! The formula worked like magic. I am trying to not supplement anymore though, I am slowly phasing it out, so I can exclusvely nurse him, as great as the formula is it is expensive as hell!!!! $30 bucks a can!!! I can not afford that! Try switching the formula see if it makes a difference for her! good luck!

Great to see everyone!!!! We made it to "the other side!!!!"
Gianna is a great baby - she only cries when she's hungry or when she need to burp. It would be awesome if she could sleep for more than three hours at a clip though!!!
Let's keep the january mommies thread going! It's great to hear updates from people who were all in the same boat.

The doctor gave us 2 samples of Gentlease today, so I'll give it a try. $30 bucks a can Holy crap!!!!! Shaylie has been putting away food like it was going out of style. As of today, she's 6 lbs 11 oz. When she was born, she weighed 5 lbs 16 oz. The doctor said that if she doesn't respond well to Gentlease, then I can try Goodstart.
