Japanese cookbooks?
My BIL has recently gotten into cooking. He lives with his girlfriend, and both work and go to school, so they make stuff that's relatively quick and easy, but an emphasis on healthy. They really like Japanese, and for his birthday, I'd like to get him a beginners cookbook for Japanese. Any suggestions?
I think I'm also going to get him Jamie Oliver's latest.
Thanks! Cathy

Re: Japanese cookbooks?
I have a few Japanese cookbooks that I like, but my favorite is a cheap one that I bought in a closeout bookstore a few years ago. I took a Pacific Rim Cooking class and used some recipes from that book also.
Try: Wagamama Cookbook https://www.wagamama.com/shop/shop.php
Harumi's Japanese Cooking http://www.conran-octopus.co.uk/
(sorry they are all British links, but I live in the UK...)
??????!
