Re: Japanese Maple

I'm not sure about pricing but I did see a bunch at Garden Dept in Medford on Route 112. I didn't get prices on them though.

We got ours 2 years ago at Cheep Sams it was worth the trip. Abby's on Merrick Red in Wantagh had some nice ones but they were $$$$$ we looked a few other local places and found the same, the HD and Lowes selections were very sparse.

I'm sorry, I didn't see that you wrote Nassau.

Give Ciprianos a call, they are on Front Street in East Meadow. I do remember them having trees and shrubs but I don't know if they stock them this early. They were one of few nurseries I went to when I lived in Nassau.

We got ours at Cheap Sams too many years ago. It is just blooming now and I LOVE it. It did cost alot, $200, but it grows larger every year.

I fit mine in my mini Chat Icon The guys that work at the nurseries are great, they'll get it in there Chat Icon These are dwarf maples so when you buy them they're not *that* big.

In suffolk I could help, but not much help in nassau. Hope you find a nice one!

i went to cipriano's as well they have a great selection we did all our landscaping with them. We brought in pics and they helped plan it . we had a tree die ( probably b/c we didn't water enough) and within the year the exchanged the tree
