It only took me 40 minutes to get to Top Point from Centereach! I know Eddie D's in Centereach does it, but it is above $500. I know someone who got it done at Cactus and paid $700 IMO, it is worth the long drive to save the $$$!

Ditto....plus when you're driving home after getting your hair straightened, you can have your windows open and watch your new shiny straight hair move in the wind for 1.5 hours and get no frizz or poof.

Re: Japanese straightening recommendation out east?
I spent $10 in Quarters for the meter!
I didn't have an appointment but I left my house around 8:45 on a Saturday morning and I waited until 9 - then I called them and told them I was on my way! Just to make sure I wasn't driving so far for no reason!

So, is it on the street parking then? Parallel parking? Busy area? UGH!!! Maybe I could get DH to drop me off and pick me up instead if I did it.

there is a parking lot- but you still have to put quarters- I want to find a lot that you can just pay to park all day

My coworker said there is one pretty close by that is 2 levels that you can park at all day! But I didn't feel like getting lost while looking for that one.
Pam The parking lot I parked in is so close! Like 100 meters away... it is $4.50 for 3 hours. Every 3 hours you have to go out and pay. I had to pay twice for 3 hours and once for 1 hour. I got there early (9:30)and there were plenty of spots! No Parallel parking! Just don't go too late - it was mobbed when I went out after the 3 hours (about 12:30) to pay the meter!
