japanese straitening and hair color -help!
Ok so I made an appt. for straightening wednesday (I am terrified!) the guy told me it is going to take the color out of my hair but I can recolor it in 7-10 days - does anyone have any experience with this - does it really strip the color?

i had done straightening years ago.........i have very dark brown hair and it made my hair reddish

I'm not sure, but I have highlighted hair and I always wanted to get it straighted, but my hair dresser said my hair would just fall out, and I have very healthy hair too. I'm thinking maybe its not good to do when your hair is highlighted?? I'm also nervous to get it done. I see a lot of women that did posts on before and after of there hair and most of them had the same color black or brown, with no highlights.

It didn't take any of my color out. I would wait more at least a two months until you color it again.

I used to have blonde hair- when I first got it done- it made me blonder- but then i would get it fixed about 2 weeks later
