Jennifer Love Hewitt Reveals New Thinner Body
In November, Jennifer Love Hewitt was criticized for weight gain after photos surfaced of her looking fuller-figured in a bikini in Hawaii.
"We know what you ate this summer, Love – everything!" TMZ.com notoriously wrote.
Now, the Ghost Whisperer star has the last laugh.
In the new issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands now, the 32-year-old shows off the new body she got after just 10 weeks and her trainer reveals to Us exclusively how she lost 18 pounds.
"I am in a pretty good workout regimen that I like, so it inspired me to keep it up," Hewitt tells Us. "The energy level and the way I feel now is great."
"With her, it's not, 'I want to look good in that dress,'" trainer Stevie Sant'Angelo tells Us. "She wanted to start moving around because she thought it would make her feel better.
"She told me, 'They said some rude, mean things, but that's not why I wanted to change,'" Sant'Angelo says.

I know she said she didn't do it because of what was said about her but I don't think I believe that. Sad she folded to the pressure. She looks great but I thought she looked great before

ITA-she did it because the media called her fat!
Its BS, I feel bad from celebrities...in respect to them having to be stick skinny.
I mean she looks great but she looked fine before.
ETA: Im not knocking her for losing weight and wanting to look good, but feel that media didnt HELP at all!

I think it's unfair to attack her for losing weight. It's not like she lost SO much weight that she looks like a twig.
She probably saw the pictures and didn't like what she saw. She has the right to do whatever she wants. I don't think she folded under the media pressure...I think she lost the weight because SHE wanted to look better. I think it's her decision! She looked great before and looks great now!

Well, she is also getting married and what girl doesn't diet and exercise a ton for her wedding.
What I really can't believe is how she is letting people do a story on her weight loss, when she made such a big deal that those pics of her were, well, not a big deal and that she was a size 2, blah blah blah. The whole cover story is perpetuating the things she was talking against before.

ITA. She really may have physically felt more tired and sluggish, too. I can't believe anyone would knock her for wanting to feel better, whether it be mentally or physically.

ITA - good for her if she wanted too and was able to lose the weight. However, doing a story of how you lost it seems hypocritical to her previous statement. If it didnt matter dont do a whole cover story on it and just live your life.

Lose the weight, fine. But when an article is focusing on that, the weight becomes the issue.

She's getting married - OF COURSE she went to a trainer! Who wouldn't if they had the means? I certainly would have and no one would have called me fat before my wedding, even if I were a celebrity.
There will be another article after the wedding when she puts it all back on, I'm sure.

I'm not going to knock her for wanting to lose weight.

I  her if she did it under her own terms but if she did it b/c of media then im  ... no one should be pressured to look a certain way.. but being a celebrity has to be a hard life to live.
