**Jenn's IVF Journey** Final Update
Here's my background info....
Trying for more than a year...
Married for a year...
4 Failed IUI's
1 Chemical
Unexplained IF
9/18/09
Blood and Sono:
All Clear
Can start Gonal-F, Menopur, and Dexamethasone tonight.
Go back again on Monday!
Excited to start! 
9/22/09
I've been stimming for 5 days. The shot isn't bad at all. It really helped that I ask a million questions bc I found out u can mix everything into 1 shot.
No worse than the Ovidrel.
As of today, 11 follies. Kind of concerned about the low # but am trying to stay positive.
We're going to freeze some sperm on Saturday just in case Dh gets nervous before the ER.
9/28/09
Triggered last night. Holy Ouch! I feel like Joba Chamberlain threw a fast ball at my a$$. I could barely sit on the train this morning.
ER is TOMORROW! I can't believe it. I'm not a super religious person but will be  like crazy! I think I have around 14 follies. YAY!
9/29/09
ER done! They retrieved 15 eggs. It was actually a pretty simple procedure. No pain; just tired. I am so hard that the fert report is good tomorrow.
9/30/09
9 of the 15 fertilized. Is that good? I am going to have a heart attack. This whole process is making me crazy. 
10/2/09
ER is done! They put back 2 and were able to freeze the remaining 7.
Both of the embies were grade 1's and both were 8 cells. The dr said those #'s are great. The ER was quick and painless. Last progesterone shot is tonight and then I move to the capsules.
The next 2 weeks will be torture.
We are so hard!

I know I don't go for my beta for 2 more days, but I can't hold out telling u guys and longer.....
It worked!
I got my BFP on Thursday. I've tested like a dozen times since then and they all say that I am pregnant. It was the strangest thing to see the word pregnant on a test that I took----I never thought that would happen for me!
I finally told DH this weekend and he won't belive me until a dr tells him. 
Still so early---please send lots of sticky dust. I am that the beta goes well.

Dr just called and my 1st beta is 257. Is that good? I think it is, right? 
I have to go back on Friday.
Please continue to send sticky vibes!!!!!!!!

Starting to believe that I am actually pregnant!!!!! Holy moly!
11/1/09
Okay, here's my final update. U guys were right.....I am beyond thrilled to say that the doctor confirmed twins on Friday.
I am 6W5D pregnant and the babies are measuring fine.
DH and I are still in shock that this actually worked, much less that we may be blessed with two babies.
I couldn't have got through this whole process without the love, new friendships and constant support from everyone on this board. Will continue to for you all!

11 is a great number- it will go up! That's all I had around this time and they wound up getting 14! It's more important that their mature, so slow and steady is good!
