Jesse's 1st Birthday Wild West Hoedown (with pics )
Cannot believe my "baby" is now 1 
We decided to do a western theme and it was SO much fun to plan !
Iviitation courtesy of the fabulous Marcies Custom Card Design and of-course photo by the one and only Forever Fireflies 
The party was held at The Frank Brush Barn in Smithtown (heard about it thanks to a fellow LIF'er ..thanks Shorty!) So very reasonable and fit our theme like a glove !!
All signs and favor labels were from AndreaP Designs who went ABOVE and BEYOND to deliver them to me...I could not have been happier with them
Personalized BBQ sauce favors!
Kids bucket of dress up stuff full of hats, sheriff badges, bandanas and 'staches 
On the menu was pulled pork, rotisserie chicken, ribs, nuggets, mac-n-cheese etc...
And corned beef of-course since it was on St.Pats day 
Food was courtesy of Fireside Caterers who were phenomenal ...
We also used Silver Spoon for our waitress service (and LIF vendor) and I cannot stress how pleased I was with them !!! They worked their tushes off and all of their special touches did not go un-noticed !!
The DJ we used was L.I Nights....fantastic with the kids and the adults...highly highly reccomend !!
And of-course the guest of honor and his big brother and sis.....
Doing the limbo...
BJ's did a great job with the cake as always....
Jesse had NO problem digging into it
And when it was all over.....
Still cannot believe that 1 year ago today this was him, my gentle giant.....
 
He is a true miracle and I thank my lucky stars every day that I was chosen to be his mommy....

Love the theme!
That place might be on the list of the ones I visit. I can't seem to find the perfect one for a "county fair."

Awesome theme! Love all the special little touches. And the pic of him eating cake with the hat covering his eyes is adorable, even though you can't see his face.

This would be PERFECT for a country fair theme ! They also had an outside area that we were fortunate enough to get use out of because of the beautiful weather we had !
Their # is 265-6768....
211 Middle Country Road, Smithtown
Saturdays are $400, Sundays are $375
You get the place for 6 hours (including set up and clean up), but they were very lenient and easy to work with..
There also is a $40 Historical Society membership fee, but it gives you admission to their events for the year as well
