I feel sick and upset for her! It's horrific to lose a pet to a coyote. I had it happen in front of me once also. 
yes...it happens to often in CA...it is a terrible thing....some friends of mine had their dog taken by a coyote too....I feel terrible for Jessica

The coyote just comes on the property and takes the dog? OMG, that is so scary!
What I don't understand is that Jessica is offering a reward? Ummm,,didn't the coyote eat Daisy?

It was horrific! There had been Coyotes comming down from the hills that were looking for food and water . A few neighbors started missing their cats. I decided to start keeping my cat indoors and one night she ran out the door and as quick as that a Coyote ran up in the yard and grabbed her.

Also a coyote jumped my back fence and was in the yard with my HUGE dog.
He scared that coyote away.

Ok, so I'm not from CA, so I don't know too much about coyotes, but if you live in an area where they're around, aren't there things you can do to take precautions, esp. as a celeb?
(build a stone wall..something???)

It would have to be a very high wall! I had one jump my 6' fence in my backyard.

Wow! This is an eye opener for me. I never knew this happens in CA.  That is pretty scary. How do you even let your kids play in the yard if the coyotes snatch pets? Just crazy! I feel really bad for Jessica but especially for Daisy.

Chelsea handler was talkign about this on her show, if she saw this than why is she asking for a reward. She is such an airhead.

DHs aunt's dog was taken this way last year, also right in front of her. It was devastating for her. It is very common in CA.
