Jet Blue - Leg Room
According to their website, there is a lot of leg room.
Agree...disagree?

My DH is tall and wants to fly first-class, but it is so expensive. I saw that Jet Blue has reasonable fairs...and lots of leg room.
Are the seats wider than other airlines?
TIA

Re: Jet Blue - Leg Room
See if you can book the emergency exit rows. They inherently have more legroom since they need to be wider since they are anticipating people walking thru those sections.
As for seat width, I think they're on par with other airlines. Not the worst out there, for sure. We took Cathay Pacific (a chinese airline) once and it was unbearable (7 hour flight to vancouver, too...)
If you look at seatguru.com they will give you the information on seat width, pitch, legroom, etc.

Re: Jet Blue - Leg Room
the seats in the front of the plane have more leg room then the back
I am ok with the seats in the back- I am 5'2 on a tall day
but the seats in the front are awesome- they are $20 more - but worth it- I got bumped up to the front the last time I went to FL- I noticed a huge difference

Re: Jet Blue - Leg Room
I agree...I feel even though the seats in the front of the plane have more room then the back. With that said, the back gives you more then a "normal" airline though. I don't feel squished at all in there. DH is only 5'8 but takes up a lot of room. We can sit together & I don't feel like he is taking over my space.

Re: Jet Blue - Leg Room
Agree. I am 5'4" and very comfortable .
My DH is 6'4" and for a quick flight to Florida he is fine in their seats but for a longer flight we pay an extra $20 so he can have even more leg room. Without the extra leg room, if the person in front of him decides to recline their seat back, it is pressing up against his knees and he cant stretch out.
