I've noticed that those girls wear a lot of makeup and get their hair styled really cute lately. It really surprised me!
They recently went to another wedding in an episode, and the girl also had her dress built up on top, but it wasn't farty like Anna's either.
They must have a stylist.
There was an article on one of the Gawker media sites about how their looks have significantly changed over the past few years, and why it's happening. They had pictures thru the years. Even the mother has gotten more lax in her dress then she was in the beginning.
The conclusion was that they are most likely trying to distance themselves from the religious leader scandal, etc.

Absolutely beautiful. I may be in the minoroty, but I love that family. Such good-hearted, wholesome Christian people.
We love following their show and seeing them all grow up. These 2 look so happy and in love!

Love them! I think she looked great! She's really become my favorite of all of them in the last season or two. They seem so happy together. I cried like a baby during the proposal which I blame on hormones bc I am so not a crier. I wonder what's going on with Jessa and her courtship? Seems like they've really stalled things.

Nope, I love them also. I would love to be friends with all those girls. They seem like great girls and a great family, and they look like they have fun also. Aside from the strict courting rules, I think they are awesome.
I agree. I used to think they were so weird- but I've been watching the show on re-runs and I love it! I do disagree with some of their beliefs- but I don't hold it against them.

I actually find Jessa's relationship more mature/"normal".
Jill kinda seemed like a giggly teenager with her first crush. Which I guess this kind of is, since they don't talk to any men outside of the family!

I think Jessa is gorgeous! Actually all of their kids are VERY good looking!

 It is! It was the first one I could find that had a good view of the dress.
Didn't she & her sisters make it? It looks homemade.
I always thought the Duggar change of clothing has more to do with the fact that they were on TV & the girls were getting older. I saw part of the episode wear Jill was picking out outfits to bring on her trip to meet Derek in person & her outfits were really cute!
I did wonder if they still buy everything 2nd hand, or is that not necessary now, since they have $ from the show & the older girls do work.
