Jillian Marie is here!
Hi All!
Our daughter, Jillian, was born 3 wks early at NS Plainview on 10/30 and was 18 inches and 6lbs 1oz :)
We were a little surprised that she was so early, but we are enjoying every minute of her!
I hope everyone's pregnancies are doing well!
the birth story isn't so long - although my water broke and i didn't realize that is what happened  I thought it was just my mucus plug and even though I peed my pajamas getting there (this was at 3am), I just figured I was 'losing it' in a whole new arena being pg lol.
But we got to the hospital at 10am after I had some irregular contractions at home, and finally figured out that yes, that was my water breaking! They pushed pitocin which made them come stronger and more regular. Finally at about 3-3:30 the epidural man came to make my life better, and after about an hour of pushing, our daughter was born!
Also, I loved the hospital, they were so nice and everyone was very helpful. If anyone is going there for a delivery, you are in good hands!
