I like what I do, but I dislike some co-workers who abuse the state job system and come in late, leave early, take excessive time off, which leaves me to cover for a bunch of people. Ideally I would like a job with more autonomy, so I am getting yet another degree which will hopefully allow me to get a job with more independence.

I used to love my job...but lately I feel like I get punished for being a hard worker. It kills me to watch slackers getting promoted. I always thought that if you worked hard you could go anywhere...but in my company the opposite seems to be true
