Jodi Picoult
The New York Times had an interview with her in yesterday's paper. She grew up in Nesconset and graduated from Smithtown East. She comes back here pretty often since her mom is still here. She came off in the interview as a cool lady and has a book coming out.

Her new book is The Tenth Circle. It came out a couple of weeks ago.
I have it... but have a few books in line ahead of it before I read it.

I have read almost all her books..L:OVE HER!
She is often at a book store in Huntington..her website gives details..

I just got 2 of her books today at Costco. I liked my sister's keeper a lot, so I am hoping I like these also.

I'm 3/4's a way through the Tenth Circle and I have to say its my least favorite book of hers so far and go so far as saying I really dont like it at all....and I LOVE HER...
Its too overly emotional and kinda "odd" ....Clique....

I like her but I find her to be hit or miss. Loved "My Sister's Keeper" and "The Pact" but did not like "Vanishing Acts" and thought "Plain Truth" was okay. I have "Keeping the Faith," which is on my list after my book club read!

I actually like other then the pact and my sisters keeper her older books better.
Like I said I didnt like the tenth circle AT all. But I did like The plain Truth and Perfect Match , Salem Falls and loved Harvesting the Heart.
I didnt like Songs of a humpback whale AT ALL.
Im gonna read Picture Perfect next.

Just about to finish "Plain Truth", it took me a while to get into it, but now I can barely put it down. The first one I read was "My Sisters Keeper" and none of them have topped that one, but I've really liked the others I have read.

I love her style so far. I have read Tenth Circle and My Sisters Keeper. I just started Keeping Faith and I cannot put it down.
