Jogging stroller..fixed or swivel wheel

Hello -

I appreciate your input. I just got a jogger at my shower but I want to make sure it is te right one for my needs. I plan to use the stroller mostly for running but I am worried the fixed wheel wont let me turn easily etc but heard the wheel with 2 settings is not as good for running..

What did you real moms find??

I have not yet actually used a jogger, so take it for what it's worth, but when talking to sales associates at stores, they seem to recommend the stationary wheels for jogging and not the kind that could be used as both.

my jogger has 3 settings...

swivel
stationary
45 degree angel

i havent used it to run yet (if i even attempt to run)

i have the Valco baby Tri Mode "boy meets girl"

its a true jogger

I have a Baby Jogger double with the fixed wheel and its great for running. I don't think it would be great for the mall or shopping, not that it would fit in my trunk anyway! Honestly, you get used to turning it when running. You kind of learn to lean and pick up the wheel when you are turning.

i love my jogger so much i hardly want to use any other stroller! so, i like having the swivel wheel that locks for both exercise and general use.
