Johnsons BedTime Lotion
LOVING this stuff. I use the bath stuff but DS ususally doesnt go to bed right after his bath. I picked up the lotion the other day, and last night massaged him iwth it right beofre bed at diaper change time.
My son slept for 10 & 1/2 hours STRAIGHT last night. I must have checked his breathing 400 times, I couldnt believe it was possible!
Tonight I did the same thing, he was fussy as ever, massaged him with the lotion and not 15 minutes later he was out like a light!
Could be coincidence sure...but Im praying its NOT!
Guess we will see how much sleep we get tonight...

Your son just turned 2 months right? My sister in law kept telling me that as soon as Jacob turns 2 months old, he will sleep thru the night. We put him to bed as usual that night and he slept from 10 p to 7 a!!! We were shocked. Next night, same thing. Its been that way ever since. He just turned 3 months on Wednesday and with the exception of 2 nights, has slept straight thru since. I hope its the same for you!!!!

ETA Now that I wrote that out, I hope I didnt screw myself!!!!!!

My DS was doing 10pm-7am for a while, but now he is 15 weeks old and he is back to waking up at least once (most of the time twice) during the night.

Re: Johnsons BedTime Lotion
Lavender & chamomile have healing/relaxing properties. Coupled with the massage it coud definitely be working.

Probably because it doesn't work for everybody. I did lavendar bath and lotion with Cailen when he was going thru his no-sleeping phase, and while it may have relaxed him , it never sent him off to land....
I keep thinking of buying it for him and trying again if he ever goes thru sleep difficulties again.... but I'll see....

I love how it smells!!!
I got my hopes up because so many people said it was going to work.... sort of like Humphreys pills for teething....

It's chemicals that "create" the scent and as far as I know, they don't have the actual oils as ingredients (they may have changed the formula since I used it and if so, I'm sorry!) so I'm not convinced that it would help anyone sleep longer. If you like the scent and you feel it works, then it's not a waste for you.
