Johnson's NATURAL line...
So, I read all about the J&J products here... and did my research and also did not want to use them. But then I went to target to check out California Baby and Burt's Bee's and I noticed in the same section it said new products from J&J and it's their "natural" line where it says 98% natural products and the ingredients are very different than their regular stuff. Problem is, maybe since it is new, I can't find it evaluated anywhere. Do any of you know where I can find out more information on this product to see if it is safe enough to use?

Re: Johnson's NATURAL line...
I don't know anything about the line but I know J&J tests on animals. The only reason a company really needs to test on animals is because the govt says they must if they use certain ingredients (chemicals). IMO, if they need to use those ingredients that need testing then I do not want to use them on my body. I never buy anything tested on animals but that is just me. I always tell people if you are concerned about the things you put on your body then sick w/leaping bunny certified cruelty free products. You will no for sure those products do not have any harmful chemicals.

JMO--if they're putting products on the shelves that could harm innocent babies and are doing nothing about it, then I don't want anything to do with any of their products.

Exactly, they "claim". Unfortunately there is no real monitoring system related to cruelty free products so any company can slap that label on if they want. You never really know but Leaping Bunny is a great reference tool.

Re: Johnson's NATURAL line...
Agree with above poster to use that site, it's very informative. As for using the J&J Natural line, I don't care if they even come out with an organic line, I will never buy their products again. Knowingly selling products with cancer causing ingredients marketed for babies and children is horrible in my eyes and I won't be buying any of their products to help line their greedy little pockets.
And I can't help but think that the reason they are coming out with the natural line is to be like "hey look at us, we really do care about your baby so start spending your money with us again"

Re: Johnson's NATURAL line...
I tried the JJ Naturals on DD. Supposed to be Hypoallergenic. She broke out in a massive rash. Go figure.

Re: Johnson's NATURAL line...
Also be careful with California Baby ~ they recently changed there packaging and they added some new ingredients. The old formula was wonderful I have no experience with the new formula on my son since I am not going to even try since I saw a lot of negative reviews on FB for California baby (this happened last week) ~ on FB California baby was blowing up with a lot of mommies seeing rashes on there babies ( oozing rashes ~ blister like symptoms) and started putting two together with the new formula. You won't see the negative reviews now because CB on the FB page doesn't allow comments from there customers any longer (and was deleting all negative posts) it was really bad and ~ some of the stories I read I felt sooo bad for these kids. Just be careful.
I am giving Dolphin Organics a try

Great...
if we can't use J&J, or aveeno, or california baby... what is left? Burt's Bees has mixed reviews.

My friend's pediatrician recommened Dove white bar soap and Head and Shoulders. You could always wait to see what your pediatrician recommends
