Joined a gym with childcare!
Woo-hoo! I joined a fabulous gym near me (in NJ) and they have great childcare. I did an advanced Pilates class today and it was so fabulous! I am psyched. Tomorrow I'm going to spinning. DD really enjoyed her time playing with the other kids too...it's a win/win so far!
I've been looking for a place with lots of classes as I'm not really into the machines b/c I have them at home.

You're so lucky! My DD would go ballistic when I would leave her with the childcare...all I would be able to do is 20 minutes of cardio and they would call me to get her!!!

well I'm trying to get her accustomed to other people watching her b/c I know it will just get worse...how old is your DD?

Her bday is today- she turned 3! 
I started going to the gym (Equinox on LI) around her 1st bday b/c I thought it would be good for her to seperate from me too...but, she would FREAK and I just gave up on taking her with me (I would drop her off with my MIL). She still has really bad seperation anxiety to this day!
It's great that your DD did so well though! Keep going and she'll get used to it in no time!

That's great! I go to a pilates and yoga studio which has childcare and it makes all the difference with being able to work out regularly. DS is 15 mos so he does have days where he cries when I leave the room but is always happy for the hour we're there. I'm happy you found a win/win.

I agree with the other posters though...keep trying to take her. I gave up and I regret it! Good luck!
