Jones Beach - which field
I was just wondering if anyone knew which field was better for younger children. I have a 3 year old and I know there is definitely a more family friendly field but I cannot remember the #. thanks in advance,

Re: Jones Beach - which field
Fields 4 and 5 are closer to the playground, but Field 6 is much closer to the water, less of a distance to lug everything to the sand.

For me, Tobay is MUCH better than Jones. Just down ocean parkway a little. There are sprinklers there for kids and a playground - right next to a really good place to eat.

Tobay is nicer, but you have to be a Town of Oyster Bay resident to use it. Otherwise, I think it's something like $20 to get in
