Joseph's Homecoming!
 Joseph spent just over two weeks in the NICU when he was released today. Yesterday my family and I had CPR training at the hospital and then DH and I spent the night in the hospital so that we could learn his new monitor (JAG has problems with low heart rate and apnea).
Leaving the hospital was amazing. The staff there has been incredible! By the time we left one nurse made me a get well card from Joseph (with his picture and footprints) another has given us her home phone number and email, all together we received 8 cases of ready made formula plus enough nipples and 60ml bottles to go along with it. All of them gave me a hug, wished me a speedy recovery and asked me to keep them updated as to my health. All in all, a very good delivery/hospital experience (I know that doesn't help you all though since I am in FL).
Without further adieu, here are pictures from today's homecoming festivities!

Deb -- he is so beautiful.
Your letters should be in the mail by monday. I feel so bad that I didn't have them for you in time for him to come home.
I am so excited that he is home. It sounds like you had an amazing staff at your hospital and it must be very reassuring to have that nurse's #.
I am so glad that he's home.

Those pictures brought tears to my eyes. I am so glad that your son is home with you. Thank god you have had such wonderful support from the nurses at the hospital and will continue to have their support.
