Josh Duggar Admits Infidelity and Pornography Addiction: 'I Have Been the Biggest Hypocrite Ever'
Josh Duggar has confessed to cheating on his wife Anna amid reports he signed up for Ashley Madison, a website that specializes in facilitating extramarital affairs.
Josh, 27, and his parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar broke their silence Thursday on the Duggar family website.
Introducing Josh's statement, Jim Bob and Michelle wrote, "When we learned of this late last night our hearts were broken. As we continue to place our trust in God we ask for your prayers for Josh, Anna, our grandchildren and our entire family."
Josh put forth this statement: "I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife.
I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him.
I brought hurt and a reproach to my family, close friends and the fans of our show with my actions that happened when I was 14-15 years old, and now I have re-broken their trust.
The last few years, while publicly stating I was fighting against immorality in our country, I was hiding my own personal failings.
As I am learning the hard way, we have the freedom to choose our actions, but we do not get to choose our consequences. I deeply regret all hurt I have caused so many by being such a bad example.
I humbly ask for your forgiveness. Please pray for my precious wife Anna and our family during this time."
The admission comes just three months after a 2006 police report revealed that Josh had been accused of molesting five underage girls as a teen, and just one month after the birth of his and Anna's fourth child.
A rep for Josh and the Duggar family did not immediately respond to calls for comment about the future of the couple's marriage.

Sadly in that cult he will be fine and his wife will not leave him. Not only that but, she will get blamed as having a part in it for not fulfilling her obligations enough to keep him from wandering. I feel the worst for her. She was put into an arranged marriage with this pervert. She has been taught her whole life to submit to men and that her place is to serve her husband and father.
The little baby girls have to keep their skirts down because it will cause men to have unpure thoughts. If you are raped you must have been doing something to entice the man. It's all the women's fault. So poor anna is probably sitting around and blaming herself. And worse yet.. her family and his family is probably placing some of the blame on her too. .

i know she won't leave but wish she would. It would send such a good message to all those other woman who are in similar situations but I know it won't happen.

Ftr i think there is a difference between being devoutly religious and the Duggars. They are in a cult. You can be a devout catholic, Methodist or Jew and not take things to the extreme that they do. They are in a cult. Plain and simple. I used to love his show. It was on my DVR. But the more I learned out them the more disturbed I became. I thought Michele's parenting style of never yelling was admirable. But now they I have learned more about what they teach the kids I am not as into it. My husbands cousin heard her speak at her Christian church and thought she was great. But I think they water down their beliefs for these public speaking events. His cousin is no submissive woman and is getting her masters degree in counseling. I am sure Michelle didn't go full on quiver full for them.

He is scum.
HOWEVER, I find his molestation of his sisters MUCH more disturbing than this latest cheating and porn scandal. Obviously, millions of people are doing it. Sexually abusing your own siblings is something else. If his wife did not run for the hills when she heard that, I'm guessing she's in it for the long haul.
I just feel bad for his children and hope they are safe. You'd think she would at least do something to protect them. But I guess their religion doesn't like that? A-holes.

Looks like she could prove a couple.

I feel so sorry for her that she is so brainwashed that she could accept any ounce of responsibility for this. I think it's demoralizing how they make sure their women do their "wifely" duties and submit whenever and wherever  How brutal it must be for her to live with a sex addict. Good riddance

He made a facebook that he friended 28 women (most strippers and dancers). He also paid for the Ashley Madison accounts. He has major problems that can't be fixed by just saying Jesus forgives him.
