Judge dismiss Wall of Shame Charge

Not for anything- this is utter BS.

This poor woman- if I were her I would sue.
She blew a 00 on the breath test and after that they decided to test her urine- which also came up as negative for any alcohol in her system...but not before they posted her picture on the website.

Turns out she was diabetic and in need of insulin. Of course she was still a danger on the road- but to post her pic on the wall of shame when she blew a 00 is truly disgraceful.

I'm not sure if it was a mistake on their part - to post her pic etc before her full test results were back- but either way her reputation is marred now...

That is a shame.

It happens a lot with diabetics - my brother's friend was certain a man he pulled over had to be drunk - he was all over the road. But, in reality, he was having a diabetic episode.

He, himself, said he should be more responsible with his diabetes and apologized to my brother's friend. He went to the hospital to get checked out and was not arrested. I think this should have been the same way for this woman. Unforunately, there are going to be mistakes here and there. Out of 1,000 arrests made in this crackdown - there has been one error so far. It happens, unfortunately. Luckily, her name is now being cleared in the news.

But, I still believe in the wall of shame - no "policy" or "law" or "action" is 100% perfect, unfortunately.

Thank you for posting though - the more people see that she was not drinking and driving, the better.

Yes, it's actually a common mistake. The smell people emit can also be confused with alchohol as it's "sugary".

Her photo should be posted the same way with with a public appology just like it was done with a public humiliation.

I am surprised Civil Right attorneys have not been on the issue with this.

There is a small disclaimer that everyone is innocent until proven guilty.

I am opposed to the pics personally BUT if we "must" post them it should be done AFTER they are found guilty.

This is one of the very reasons I am opposed to this "Wall of Shame". I guess innocent til proven guilty means nothing. I have no problem with posting when they are found guilty but not before.
