Julia Child
Finally saw the move Juile and Julia last night and I actually really liked it.
Does anyone have Julia's cookbook? How practical is it? I can't see myself ever deboning a duck but some of the other things sound good....

Re: Julia Child
I have a few of her books. Mastering The Art of French Cooking is the one that made her famous. I love it - it talks a lot about technique - which is important. I haven't made all of the recipes.. but there are a lot of real solid methods that are good for everyone.

Re: Julia Child
The Way To Cook is a really good one for beginners and basics. It has step by step instructions and pictures to help you along. I also have other ones.
