Julia has the croup....(UPDATE)
I'm a nervous wreck!! Anything with the breathing freaks me out! I just had to call the Dr because her breathing was so fast and she was coughing up a storm, the Dr could hear her on the phone and said it sounds like croup.
I had to run the shower and have her sit in the steam, it seemed to help a little but now she's sleeping and making all kids of grunting noises and I'm so scared she's not getting enough air.
Ever since she was in the hospital with phenmonia last year I have been so scared of her going back again every time she gets sick.
Please say a prayer that she will be ok and won't need to go to the hospital, I'm so nervous, and being preggo is making it so much harder on me right now....
I take her to the Dr again in the morning and hopfully she can put Julia on something stonger to help her breathe better.
UPDATE> Well I took her to the Dr, and she said her lungs are clear (thankGod) but she put her on a steroid medication to open her up more so she can breathe better at night, the poor thing is so congested... Anyway, hopefully this will all clear up soon!

my daughter had it too. She was ona steriod for 5 days and then like 2 weeks later it went away. Its such a horrible cough. Hope she feels better.

I found going from cold air to warm air to cold air opened up her lungs more when dd had croup. Try that and of course the steam baths etc...
