Jumping Beans Brand @ Kohls?
So I just had my baby shower today and got a decent amount of clothing from some guests that is Jumping Beans -- I see from the receipt its Kohls brand. I'm thinking of returning most of the clothing -- it seems of very poor quality. I know I haven't washed anything yet, but most of the clothing is so incredibly stiff and "hard" that I can't imagine it being comfortable for an infant. I'm also worried how its going to hold up through laundry. The Carters stuff feels so much softer and better made. Can anyone with kids confirm or deny anything about this brand?

I've had no problem with it, but Ive never bought for a newborn. If you dislike it, Kohls sells Carters as well.

Re: Jumping Beans Brand @ Kohls?
I use that for when my son goes to school. It's his "play" clothes. I also used to leave those outfits as extras at my moms in case she needed it when she was watching him. As for wear, I haven't noticed anything particularly bad about it as far as holding up but to be honest I really don't pay that much attention to those clothes. Carters definitely washes well.

I love jumping beans from kohls but I did not discover it until dd was more of a toddler age. Everything I have has held up extremely well after washing. .

I love the jumping beans brand. It's afforable - they have great designs and mix/match for tops and bottoms. They wash over and over again with no issues for either my DS or DD.
My DD currently lives the jumping bean/disney clothing at kohls. It's the best of both worlds for me - afforable and disney designs!

Re: Jumping Beans Brand @ Kohls?
When my kids were babies, they lived in jumping bean. I felt the quality was good & truly held up with all the washing I did in that newborn stage.
My kids are now 4&5 but are in bigger boys sizes & I still buy the brand. I find it extremely durable with all the playing they do indoors & out

I have found jumping bean to be great quality and they have the cutest stuff! I never understand why everyone is so impressed with Carters, the pjs run tight and small as do a lot of their clothes.

Carters newborn and 3 mos stuff is good but the higher sizes seems to shrink after a couple of washes.

I felt the same way you did in the beginning, but my mom bought my son a few outfits from there and he honestly lives in them. They seem to hold up better in the washer than Carter's and once you wash them, the clothes will feel less stiff.

Re: Jumping Beans Brand @ Kohls?
They hold up, but I'm not a fan of all their styles lately (maybe its just toddler is meh). I do have some shirts that seemed stiff and never washed nicely so I wouldn't use them for a small infant.

I agree e! 95% of my kids' clothes are jumping beans this year and they hold up really well. I like them much better than carters.

Re: Jumping Beans Brand @ Kohls?
I would exchange it - I bought a few pieces here and there to keep in their 'bins' at daycare for extras ........but otherwise I found the quality to be awful
Kohls sells Carters too so you can get store credit. Just expect to get considerably less for youir money, unless you have a coupon. Because Kohls is the more ridiulously over priced store in the world ......unless they're having a sale and you have a 30% off

I find jumping beans fades really quickly.... For a newborn, this isn't much of an issue but at toddler age where you actually use the clothes many times over, they look like crap real quick.... Carters is great quality esp for sleepers at that age! My dd lived in them early on. Reg clothes that you'd kid will wear once, jumping beans is fine.

I didn't use it much when the kids were infants but, they lived in it through the toddler sizes. My boys love their pants and have a number of shirts from there as well.

Re: Jumping Beans Brand @ Kohls?
It's not a bad brand but it does fade easily. I buy my girls some stuff from the brand. I would keep only what you like and return the rest. You could return for carters and Oshkosh which hold up better IMO.

It's fine for play clothes. I've bought some things. I find the quality to be hit or miss, some things hold up better than others.
I will say I never used them for newborn or infant clothes. I always bought Carters or other brands.

I love the Jumping Beans brand, I actually think it holds up longer than the clothes from carters. I find the clothes from Carters strinks more than other brands.

Thanks ladies for all your input! I think I'll start to look into Jumping Beans for once she gets a little older. She'll be going to daycare starting in September, so perhaps I'll start to buy some of those clothes for her days there and to keep extras in her bin there. I think for newborn and 3/6 months stuff, I'll stick with other brands! I'll take a peek when I'm at Kohls today!
