june mommy here with a baby!!
 i know i don't post very often but i love this site and have found it so helpful during my pregnancy and all of you to be so nice. i thought i would share my birth story b/c other's birth stories helped me a lot as i got closer to delivery!
i went into labor out of nowhere at 2am wed. morning. i woke up with horrible gas pains and thought i had to go to the bathroom  it took a while of these pains to realize that i was actually in labor. i also had a lot of discharge seemed to be leaking fluid. this went on for a few hours while i paced and wondered if it was real. i then called my dr. woke dh and we got to the hospital at around 5am. there i got hooked up and ready to go. i was only 3cm dilated and 50% effaced. water had brokedn and contractions were there but not a lot of other progress. the pitocin only helped make it more painful but not productive. i was in pain and asked for the epidural and finally got it (relief!) another 2 hrs or so nothing really happening but the baby's HR started dropping and that scared me and the dr so it became much to my shock a c-section! i NEVER thought i would get a C! it went pretty fast but it was scary to tell the truth! so at 11:25 am Elizabeth Joanna (we only call her Lily) was born 7lb 7oz.
she is such a good sweet girl and we are loving her to bits! she's also very good at latching on which is a great thing too!
thank you for letting me share my story and for all the months of advice and stories that really made my pregnancy so much better!
