Just another reason to keep up the hope ....
Exactly one year ago my surrogate started lupron. As luck would have it, her lining ended up being WORSE than mine (the reason I was told to get a surrogate in the first place). Crying in hysterics at the end of my rope while in a mall up in Boston, I made a phone call that changed my life forever.
Today, I am 2 1/2 weeks out (at most!) from meeting our baby who *I* am pregnant with.
You just never know what's around the corner

skipped that little detail since I posted my story a few times and didn't wanna bore people  but I called an RE I had seen a year before for one of my second opinions but opted not to go with him at that time.
When my surrogate's second transfer got canceled because her lining was so terrible, I was told it would take about 6 months to find a new woman- which was just NOT ok. When I called the RE, they said it would take 2 months to get in for a consult but I cried and pleaded my case and they got me in 2 days later. That was 11 months ago, and now I'm 37 weeks pregnant. (this is after multiple losses at various stages of pregnancy, multiple IVFs, a surrogate... ) You really do never know what's in store....

Thanks ladies, I just had to share because if you told me a year ago that I would be pregnant and about to give birth I'd never ever ever ever ever ever believe it. I was beat down so many times that I started to believe disappointment was just a way of life for me and I'd never get my miracle.
I'm still so paranoid  especially after everything, but I didn't get this far without holding onto at least a little bit of hope - even when most of it was gone. To this day I look at my belly and I'm in SHOCK.

All I can say is wow!! What an incredible journey!! I'm so happy for you that you're going to hold your little one soon! You are the poster woman for keeping the faith. Thank you for sharing!!!!

Thank you!! I'm just in disbelief every single day. To say I don't take a moment of this pregnancy for granted is the understatement of the century. I just can't believe that pending all going well, this time in 3 weeks he will already be home.

I am so happy for you You give me hope...after 3 mc's I'm starting to feel like it's never going to happen but hearing stories like yours makes me so happy. You must post pics of that baby boy as soon as he's born..can't wait to see him.

I agree!!! I delivered my beautiful amazing baby girl on almost the one year anniversary when we found out our first ivf failed. One year after that I was holding my baby.
