just came back from a romantic dinner w/ DH
and DS it was great, we feed him right before we left for the Italian restaurant and he was amazing the whole time (like 1 1/2-2 hours), the hostess gave us a table in the corner so we could bring the stroller in, and my DS played and cooed for a while and then fell asleep. Me and my DH even got to have dessert and cappuccinos. The waitress was so impressed that a 2 month old was so good. It was great to be out with my DH (it was our first time in a restaurant since he has been born), we reminisced and just had a wonderful evening, just had to share b/c it felt so normal and good to be able to go out and about (we waited till now b/c the doctor recommended not going to public places for the first 2 months)

ITA! We bent the 2 month rule slightly because I really needed to get out of the house. And I really think it has kept me sane.

What a great feeling!
I remember that well. Baby sleeps through dinner or wakes up briefly. Waitresses ooh & aah...

glad you were able to enjoy!! my DD is 10 wks and we've been taking her out too. sometimes it's great, other times we are passing her back and forth so she will stay quiet and not disturb people! that's the only thing that stresses me out- that other people are going to get annoyed at my crying infant! it's so silly!
