Just Curious - Fake Name - will you make one?
Just out of curiousity/boredom...
I won't...i will shout it from the rooftops to you girls.
In my 'life' - we're only telling like 4 people until the 3 month period has passed...so being able to share with you lovely ladies, who have shared my ups & downs will mean the WORLD to me!

Nope, didn't create a fake name when I got my BFP, aside from a few girls I'm very friendly with here, I kept it to myself until I had my 12 week sono.
However, I can understand why someone would.

Nope, my life is an open book, here and in RL.
My thought proces is this, if something (God forbid) does haappen, then I will have the support of my family and friends to get me through.

I won't either. There are only 2 people on here that I casually know IRL (that I know of) & I don't think that they know I'm here...If they do for some reason, I trust that they know enough not to tell anyone else. One has a dd & the other is pg, so they know the deal

i am on the fence about it..
last time i didnt and shouted it out to everyone.. but now i feel more reserved and will be VERY hesitant.. especially because all future pregnancies will always be a worry.. its never safe for me, and i have lurkers that are family.. and god forbid if they found out first.. i dont need that

i would tell my family and close friends 1st before posting on here, then tell you lovely ladies. I would want everyone to know and not hide it cause if GOD FORBID something happen i would want and need support and i think it would be a lot for DH and I to deal with alone. I would want my family to support be through that tuff time.

I have family and friends on here and like I did the first time, I'll wait till the first sono at 7 or 8 weeks to come out.

Not sure. I only know 2 people on here IRL- one being my sister. I spoke to DH the other night about when we get pregnant again, I don't want anyone to know until i'm 12 weeks. I lost my first baby at 8 weeks last year and we and told everyone we knew. That was both good and bad. We had support from everyone, but we also had to tell everyone what happened. I guess i'll decide when it actually happens.

It's so funny you should mention this...I always swore I would not tell a soul, and use a fake name but as you can tell even having the faintest of lines has made me a roof top yeller! I don't know anybody here in "real life" but the anticipation of the fake names is awsome and the guessing......

I did b/c I know of random people on here who may or may not know it's me under my 'regular' name (ie: My Mom's friends DILs or whatever) ...And if I'm not telling my family or friends until 12 weeks, and I need to talk to SOMEONE, I can't risk someone I know finding out and yapping to my MOTHER !! -

I didn't and I don't like the fake names -- I just want to know who people are. I get so confused because I become friends with "Fakie" and then she reveals and I forget her new name... OH THE CONFUSION!!!

I said nope because i don't think I will be able to keep it to myself in RL or here. All of the people I've encountered here have been nothing but supportive, so even if something happened ( ) I would come here for advice or comfort.

I already have a fake name and that is not because I am ashamed or being secretive toward the people from LIF, it is because of people in my personal life that do or may come on here that I don't want knowing until I am preggo and far enough along.

Same here. I didn't post at all about it and only a few of my friends on here knew about it. I made my announcement at 10 weeks.
