How many days after due date before you get induced ???
Longest someone has given birth after due date??

Somebody I know what born 20 days late (but that was like 30 years ago, I don't think they let you go that late anymore).
I think most OB's will induce by 42 weeks for sure... lately I think more & more are inducing at 41 weeks.

Most doctors will only let you go a week after your due date, some will let you wait two weeks. There are proven risks with waiting too long.
I had a friend get induced 14 days late, thats the latest I know of.

Just curious
I've heard as late as 43w but a lot of people don't realize that most of the time, due dates are inaccurate so while one may think they're a week late, they may only be a day or 2 late.

Just curious
Lately I've been hearing 1 week.
Backing up the 30+ years ago, I was 25 days late. I tell my mom that someone must have miscalculated. They would never let that happen now.

My doctor lets you go 1 week after due date... other doctors I've heard let you go 2 weeks.. but I don't think its the norm past 2 weeks.

Just curious
I had my first 13 days late. I was 2 hours shy of 42 weeks and was supposed to be induced at 14 days late. My due date was definitely accurate bc I was followed by an RE in the beginning and had weekly ultrasounds and my measurements were always exactly as expected.

My doctor told me that they would only allow me to go 2 weeks passed my due date and then induction if I don't go into labor on my own

This is what happened with my mom with me! She was set to be induced on day 14 and went into labor the day before. I was born 13 days late! I always say that's the reason why I'm late to everything lol.
