Just curious.. Anyone got Dad helping out with baby?

Not Mom, not MIL, not stepmom... but Dad

My real mother is not allowed to know the date of birth (my rule) nor ever see my child

Step Monster is useless and annoying and not worth the trouble so I didn't invite her

MIL is in brooklyn so I expect her not to be by often.

I can't WAIT for my Dad to get here. I am so excited. He's going to cook and help out as he can, but honestly I am just loving that he'll be close by.

I love my dad more than the world itself. He's my best friend and honestly the most lovable, honest, sincere and all around best man on the planet. I wish he could stay longer.


so... does anyone have a DAD coming by to help?

Is it just me who's such a die-hard Daddy's girl? I can't express in words how much my Dad means to me. I call him everyday and talk for HOURS. I love him so much. I hope to be half the parent he is and honestly told him that all the pain and suffering child labor may be or the troubles of pregnancy I always knew I'd have a child, not for me, not for my hubby, but so that at least one other soul on this earth could get to love and know my father like I do.

i know when I am lucky enough to have this happen my dad will be there.

I talk to my dad everyday and now since mom and dad relocated back to NY I'm even happier that both mom and dad could be a part of this.

I know that my dad will just gush!

awww this is a nice post about your dad!! I too am a die hard daddy's girl.. I talk to my dad almost everyday and he is less than 2 miles away. I called him today to invite him to have lunch with me! I see him every single weekend and DH loves to be with him too. I hope that DH will be as great of a dad as my dad is and that our DD will look at him like her hero the way I do.

I know my dad will be coming by our house to help out and cook for us as well. He said he would cook for us and bring us food and whatever else we need. My mom, well.. she has her medical issues that consume her and I see my dad really being a bigger help to be honest. MIL will be here too and it will be impossible to get her to leave im sure.. and she isnt my favorite person on this earth, but she will be a big help. Its nice to see our dad's help us when we need it most.. it just means so much to me and I can tell it means the world to you too.
