Just found out someone didn't receive my thank you card from my wedding (almost 2 years ago)

Some cards did get lost in the mail, including the one I sent my sister. I thought I had cleared it all up after I sent them out, but I'm finding out now that someone didn't get their card...I'd like to make things right and send one, but now that's it's so late, how do I make this 'wrong' a 'right'? Any help with what to write?

I would just send a thank you card with a nice note thanking them but also explaining there was an issue with things being lost in the mail after the wedding and only now did you realize they were one of the people who didn't receive one. Even a late thank you will be appreciated, just point out what had happened and you're very sorry for the mix up.

how did you find out they never got it? depending who they are and how often you see them, i prob would not send a note jmo

Due to some major life altering issues (my husband was almost killed in an accident), we moved, and the photog screwed up our Thank Yous and then after they were printed a 2nd time, they needed to be printed a 3rd b/c 1/2 the Thank You's were printed wrong for a 2nd time. All of my cards have not gone out. I was married almost 2 yrs ago also. I plan on finishing up the cards this weekend with a lengthy apology. Some ppl have told me to forget it, no one will know. The prob is I will and it has been on my mind for the past year. I'm sending them out b/c its the right thing to do but also b/c it will sooth my mind. So if I were in your shoes, I prob would send a note explaining.
