Just found out today that we're are having an impromptu "thanksgiving" dinner at our house on Sunday....
I had asked DH to talk to his parents if they wanted to have a 2nd t-day dinner on Sunday (since we won't see them ON t-day) wellll he waited and now I panicked slightly....(his whole family might I add...13people)
I'm ordering a turkey from Fireside ( Stop & Shop were out lol)
But here is my menu:
Apps:
Spinach and Artichoke Dip w/ veggies
Cheese and Crackers
Shrimp?? (I hate shrimp but I can buy this anywhere and easily...and everyone else likes it)
Dinner:
Turkey
Creamed Spinach
Carrots with brown sugar & butter
Corn
Sweet Potatoes just cut in half and baked (no casserole, easy)
SIL is bring mashed cauliflower
MIL is bringing two side dishes
Dessert:
Apple Crumb
is this ok for such short notice dinner planning?? (or boring)
