Just got done taking the 3hr glucose test....UGH!! UPDATED RESULTS ARE IN!
Here i am going to the lab thinking Im getting the 1 hr test they turn around and say oh no you are here for the 3 hr!!!! I was so mad my dr never told me I was going for the 3 hr!! The lab tech says to me have you eaten anything sweet in the past 3 days I said yes but I was fasting since 8 pm last night. She says oh no I usually tell the patients not to eat anything sweet the day before. Well I didnt know about this 3 hr thing so how was I supposed to know that!! Now Im nervous Im gonna fail it and have the diabetes, Should I demand a retake on the test if it comes back bad? Im just scared now I guess.
I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MORE ICE POPS FOR ME AND BABY!!!!!!!!!!! YAY! I COULDNT BE MORE EXCITED!

the lab i went to never told me not to eat anything sweet the day before. Also, she said my Dr will make me retake it if it comes back that I failed, so I think most Dr's will make you do that anyway.
But that is very annoying that they didnt tell you you were taking the 3 hr. Its so long and boring. Did you take your 1hr at all?

Been there... Done that...totally feel your pain. 
I ate a Twix right before I started fasting which was about 6pm the night before & I passed. I wouldn't worry too much.

Nope. They never sent me for the 1hr. Which I was like, what the heck? They just sent me straight for the 3hr
